Sad Revision3 News
For those of you who haven’t already heard, Rev3 has made major layoffs. These Layoffs include Sarah Lane and Martin Sargeant. Due to these layoffs, the following shows have been cancelled:
- PopSiren
- PixelPerfect
- Internet Superstar
- Epic Fu
- Wine Library TV
This is truely sad. Some people are boycotting Rev3, but I’m not sure what I’m going to do at the moment. I hope we certainly see all of them in the future, even if it’s not on Revision3.

Backup Files Using Dropbox
One thing that I always forget when I pack up and go home from college is forgetting to backup all my work so that I can work on it at home. Now, I don’t have much of a problem because I save all my files on my Dropbox account which can basically be accessed anywhere that has an internet connection. The great thing is is that you can download Dropbox on your Windows, Mac, or Linux machine which makes accessing you account a whole lot easier. When the software is downloaded, Dropbox creates a Dropbox folder on your computer. When you save your files, save them in that folder, Dropbox automatically synchronizes with your account online and saves them to that account. Currently, Dropbox gives 2GB of space for free or you can get 50GB for $10/month or $99/year. I’d say that the free account is enough to get all the work from the first semester online, 50GB is a lot of room but I think the price is really steep. Maybe they should add a variety of packages.

Is it a Good Idea to Microwave This?
<!– @page { margin: 0.79in } P { margin-bottom: 0.08in } A:link { so-language: zxx } –First it was “Will it Blend?” and Now I found something else really interesting. The name, “Is it a Good Idea to Microwave This?” This idea apparently started in a dorm room somewhere in California in 2007. The two makers of this show, Jory Caron and Johnathan Paula, constantly buy new microwaves (mostly off of Craigslist) and name them such names as Lacy and Diane. I’m not sure how much microwaves they’ve been through so far, but I’ve counted at least two. This show has, so far, has 4 seasons and has a little over 100 episodes and a new episode is posted every Monday and Friday. Unlike “Will it Blend” There is a lot more melting and fire to it. I think it seems like a very awesome idea, wish I could have found it a little earlier though. The good news is that their not done yet. Brand new episodes are supposed to start on Halloween.
